Design analysis services are offered by GMFE, LLC either as a part of the design engineering of a project or as a stand-alone service. The final deliverable for such an effort typically will be a report outlining the data
utilized in the analysis, analytical methods and software used and a summary of the results.
The report also will include as an appendix the
full output report generated by the software utilized. Typical design analysis services on any project may include one
or more of the following partial list of studies:
- Hydraulic transient (surge) analysis of liquid pipelines to simulate valve closure times and resulting pressure surges;
- Pipeline buoyancy and weight coating (API, DNV);
- Pipe stress analysis;
- Feasibility Studies;
- Trade-off studies.
